Does Estura work without internet?
Completely. Estura runs on the till itself, so every sale, receipt and drawer-open works with the internet down. It stays licensed offline too, with a 30-day grace window so a dropped connection or a billing hiccup never stops a sale. When you're back online, licensing quietly re-checks in the background.
What hardware do I need?
A Windows PC and a barcode scanner are enough to start. Estura works with your Epson receipt printer (such as the TM-T20) and opens a standard cash drawer through the printer. Add a second monitor for a customer-facing display, or run it lean — it's your call.
Can I use my own card processor?
Yes. Estura is processor-agnostic. Keep your existing card terminal and ring the card total through Estura, or connect a supported integration. You're never locked into one payment company or forced to switch banks.
What does it cost, and can I cancel?
It's a flat $94.99 CAD per month, per till — every feature included, no setup fees. There are no contracts, so you can cancel any time. If a payment ever lapses, the 30-day offline grace means your till keeps selling while you sort it out.
